I’m sure this is just a weed, but in the fall it looks quite beautiful with its white fuzz and shiny golden stems.

    Cattails — in Texas some think they are corny dogs on a shishkabob stick. With all the geopolitical turmoil nowadays (e.g., Maine, Michigan) it’s nice to see something peaceful like autumn cattails.
