Thanksgiving: Not Just A “Turkey Day”

I have noticed how many have been calling this day a “turkey day.”  I wish we could get away from that. Thanksgiving is to be a day to give thanksgiving to God. Though we are thankful to many people, ultimately, it all comes from God. In George Washington’s Thanksgiving Proclamation, notice how he gives thanksgiving to Almighty God, and also to the great and glorious Being, and to the Lord and Ruler of Nations.
