Afghanistan has been in the news lately. A tragedy! My thoughts are this: We never should have even thought about pulling out. I’m sure there are different things we could have done, but my view is that as long as there is evil in the world, good governments have the responsibility to resist evil—even by war. Yes, it is the role of a nation’s government to resist and fight against evil forces. We find this over and over again in the bible. Also, I believe God has put a war-like spirit in the heart of every man to fight against evil. It is a holy and righteous desire to fight and be victorious over evil and evil governments.
