My husband was deoinasgd with esophageal cancer in April. He has undergone chemo and radiation therapy. Through this, he has found a true relationship with our Lord Jesus and not just a mental knowledge. For that I am thankful. God has had him in the palm of his hand and he has tolerated this treatment with little side effects although this has not been easy. His last PET scan showed no hot spots or active cancer but it is still recommended that he have surgery to remove his esophagus. He is scared to death despite his faith and prayers. Our hope is that God would perform a healing miracle so that the surgery and life style change would not be necessary. If he should allow this surgery to be performed, we are standing in faith that all will be well and he will be cured. My husband is 58.Due to this disease, my husband was forced to retire; thankfully, he has been approved for disability. These payments will not begin until December and we have taken measures to reduce our financial load. So far, God has blessed us and provided but by my eyes and finite mind, this money will not last past another month or two. I feel maybe it would be best to sell our house, horses, and goats and downsize to a more affordable dwelling which requires less upkeep, time and would allow us more financial stability. I have a high pressure job but thankfully, understanding cohorts have been supportive and tolerant of my absences when necessary. The pressure I feel at this time is overwhelming and I feel myself succumbing at times into a place of just let me hide in a corner and let the world leave me alone. I have asked Jesus to guide me, strengthen me and show me the best course of action and to bless that action and give me the strength to do what I need to do. Please God, help us.In Jesus name.

Please pray for a 17 year old girl from our Church who was knocked down by a car on Monday 27th September. Her name is Grace and she and her preants and brother attend our Church she has been a baby-sitter for my three young children.Grace has been very badly injured in the accident, and her condition is critical. She has suffered very severe head injuries and is currently in an induced coma in hospital. The Doctors gave her preants very little hope, but 4 days on Grace is still with us and fighting hard for her life. She has started to show some positive signs some hand movements, a cough, etc, but it is likely to be a long haul, so please pray for a miracle.Please pray for calm and God’s peace for her preants and family. Her mother witnessed the accident so please pray that she remains strong.Please also pray for the doctors, nurses and other medical staff involved in Grace’s care and treatment.Many people are already praying for Grace her family and friends, our Church, other Churches locally and elsewhere, prayers are being posted on social networking sites such as Facebook, even strangers are praying when they hear about her.Please spread the word about Grace’s plight and ask as many people as possible to pray for Grace and her family. Please ask God for a miracle and to help Grace recover fully from the awful injuries she has received.

She did some research last night on the 6th grade California standards, which was a good thing, too. 🙂 She says she did pretty well in the interview. Please pray for a job for my husband. He lost his job 2 mnhots ago and has not been able to find anything. We have put in hundreds of applications. Our little family is coming very close to being destitute. Last year we lost our home due to this economic crisis and have been forced to live in a very small apartment. We are just thankful for a room over our heads, but the immediate need is gas for MY car so that I can continue to go to work and also for $$ for cell phones(only way anyone can reach us for emergencies, for job interviews) they are being cut off on Friday. Whenever you have impure or evil thoughts coming into your mind, recite a scripture verse and pray over it. I will do my part too–to pray for you. I’ve recently turned 20, and found out that I was a false convert for three and a half years or so. I’ve not yet been convicted of my sin, and I’ve been studying, some Spurgeon, and watching/listening to sermons by Paul Washer, Denny Kenaston, John MacArthur, Ray Comfort, Chuck Smith, etc. If salvation is of the Lord, then do I just wait around for him to convict me of my sin? I have also heard that my sin separates me from God; how, then, can he hear me asking for forgiveness? Anyway, I ask that you’d pray for me, and my salvation.

Well you have a good start by admitting your sin. Because if we confess our sins we are letting His light and truth into us, and that is what you have done. In 1 John 1:9 He says to us, “If we confess out sins, He is faithful ad righteous to forgive us out sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Being filled and controlled by the Holy Spirit is what He promises you when you ask Him. He never addresses me in talking, always talks just to Mom. He avoids walking near me, as though I were a leper. He does little to help out with Mom’s care but is quick to point out things I should be doing or haven’t done.

Please pray that God will remove Satan’s blinders from the eyes of Michael, our young adult son (living with us) who engages in the game, Dungeons and Dragons. For game strategy, our son has also amassed a collection of D&D occult or occult-like books. Specifically, these are books of spells and related black arts.
These defiled items need to go, as well anything else unholy that I’m unaware of that may be in this house.
Out son’s views of world events, politics and life, in general, are also very blinded. He is lost. To one extent or another, I feel that nearly the whole household is in the same place, spiritually. I ask for prayers that they all find God.
When I tried to gently discuss my concern about the defiled items in the house, I was severely outnumbered on this issue and belittled for my concern. I’ve been in prayer over it, daily, since this happened 2 weeks ago. So, I also ask you to join me in praying that Satan’s blinders also be removed from the eyes of family members who fail to see the spiritual defilement that these items bring upon our home. They all defend the game and paraphernalia, and I stand alone on the issue.
I also ask that you join me in praying that the demons are bound and that binding of the family by Satan be removed so that the family can act on this problem, once it is finally seen. It is my praying desire that my family comes to a place where they are motivated to voluntarily remove items of defilement. I don’t want to be “God’s cop.” I want them all to be mindful and vigilant on their own about what they bring into our home.
My husband is a resisting Christian. So, finally, I ask that you pray that it is put into my husband’s heart to be an abiding Christian, and a desire to be a good spiritual leader over his household, and that he may act on it.

I had a closer relationship with a cousin sister who stopped writing letters after she got married. I tried to speak to her and she put the phone down in India. I asked for another letter with no response. I made the mistake of not getting her address from her father’s house because I was upset. My parents wouldn’t not allow me to go past her father’s house to her address any way. The movie “Lion” reminded me that it has been 25 years since I saw her. My parents sued her father and now I may not be able to go to her father’s house again. I have been angry with my parents for making it impossible for me to see my cousin sister. I said bad things about her father’s house. I have headaches because I miss her. My birthday was on Ash Wednesday. If it is God’s will, I want to see her. I feel as if I would almost rather die than not see her. I don’t think my parents will allow me to go to India because of their land disputes.

My daughter Evelyn (2.5yo) has severe eczema all over her body since she was born. Evelyn never had a sleep through night because she her itchy, desert dry skin ,it is been so physically tiring looking after a eczema child, and so emotionally hurt when seeing own child suffer itchiness , put loads of steroids on her and she is tolerant to the cream she is using now. My prayer request I want is I pray to God for the weather in Maryland, Washington, DC, and Virginia to be sunshine with any temperatures this Thursday, this weekend, and every weekend but we do not want any snowy weather.
