Pray that our Nation will experience a new attitude of love between Republicans and Democrats.

We recently (1/9/2018) witnessed this kind of attitude in a bipartisan meeting of senators and leaders to discuss DOCA and other pressing concerns—where the press was present during almost the entire meeting. Everyone had positive things to say about the historical meeting, especially how the President conducted it.  I viewed the entirety of it on YouTube. I was quite impressed but not surprised.

Pray that there will be more meetings of this kind in the future and that people will be willing to listen to each other and compromise.  I don’t think there is anything wrong with a little compromise as long as major important things aren’t given up.

There are some great verses in Romans 12 that I think can be applied here.
